Migration to FCA's EMTS


Part 2: Communication and Loopback Tests

In the previous step, the SSH key was generated and it was sent to FCA to be inserted in the FCA test server.

Now, it is time to perform the Communication and Loopback tests with the FCA test server



Step 6: Configure the FCA Test server


In the menu goto Settings::Remote Server

Type in the Host field "emts-test.extra.chrysler.com" to configure the FCA Test server

Type in the User field the name of the user that CTI Communications has provided to you and click on the Save button

Step 7: Execute the Communications test


In the menu goto Test::Communication Test

A dialog box will appear confirming that the transaction was executed succesfully

Step 8: Configure the Loopback Test directories


In the menu goto Settings::Configuration

In the LOOPTEST section there are 2 directories, the first is the FCA Destination directory and the second is the Local directory.

The FCA Destination directory must be "Inbox/LOOPTEST/"

Note: The sintaxis is important, it must be typed exactly as it is shown below.

The Local directory can be selected by clicking on the "Examine" button

Step 9: Execute the Loopback test

A file must be deposited in the Local directory configured in the step 8.


Execute the Loopback Test

In the menu goto Test::Loopback Test

The file deposited in the Local directory will be transmitted.

A dialog box will appear confirming that the transaction was executed succesfully

Wait 1 minute and execute the transmission

In the menu goto Actions::Execute SFTP

FCA Portal

You will receive back they file that you transmitted with a date sufix added in your /Inbox/LOOPTEST directory.


Confirm that you received the file and the Loopback Test was successful.




Step 10: Notify CTI Communication

Notify CTI Communications the results of the tests
